The Ohio eBook Project

THEY'RE COMING

Do you own a Kindle, Nook or other type of eReader? Have you ever wanted to check out eBooks to your device in the same way you check out books from the library? Well now you can!

The Salem Township Public Library is proud to announce that it has joined the Ohio eBook Project! A digital collection of materials as shared by a consortium of libraries across the state, the Ohio eBook Project aims to make the lending of digital materials fast, efficient, and enjoyable for patrons statewide.

Beginning March 15th, patrons will be able to download and enjoy eBooks to any of the dozens of digital devices compatible with the service (Kindles, Nooks, iPhones, etc.). We hope that you will join us in taking this next step into the digital age!

If you would like more information at this time, you may browse the official Ohio eBook Project website by clicking on the provided link below. You'll find all sorts of information, including access to the full collection of materials available.

What's Here for You?

We've had this comic displayed in our library since 2010. We just can't get rid of it--it's too funny! Although a library card will get you everything you need, you'll be happy to know your "small wireless devices" will go even further at the library. In March, we'll be introducing more digital materials including E-books! Ask us about it...we're here to serve you!

Of course, we'll still have plenty of materials in print, plenty of programs to satisfy just about anyone, free Wi-Fi, lots of DVDs, and much more. What's in it for you? Come check us out and we'll show you.
